After two decades in corporate management George Torok launched his own successful seminar business. He delivers inspirational keynotes and practical training programs across North America on Presentation Skills, Creative Problem Solving and Personal Marketing. Audiences remark on his warm humour, infectious enthusiasm, relevant content and impact of relating one-to-one with individuals. He is licensed by Peter Urs Bender to deliver programs on Power Presentations.

Torok is co-author of the national best-seller, ‘Secrets of Power Marketing’, with Peter Urs Bender. It is Canada’s first guide to personal marketing for the non-marketer. Published by Stoddart, the book is a guide for individuals, entrepreneurs and smart businesses to successfully market themselves. First published in June 1999, it reached national bestseller status within the first six months and continues to grow. The book is now published in at least seven countries.

Media Personality
George Torok is the host and creator of the weekly radio show, Business in Motion, on 93.3 CFMU. The show has been running since September 1996. He interviews innovators, corporate executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders. He has inteviewed several hundred business leaders. George often appears in the media as a guest on other radio and TV shows.

General Background
George completed his degree in Economics. He traveled around the world by the age of 21. The media called him a “Citizen of the World.” His business background crossed an eclectic cross-section of industries and job titles. He worked in several industries as varied as automotive manufacturing to government. George worked in different areas of the organizations including marketing, sales, operations and IT. He completed his first triathlon, (Tri-a-tri), in 2001, his first half-marathon in 2002 and his fist full marathon in 2003.
